The Irish launch event for the final Horizon 2020 work programme 2018-2020 is only a few weeks away. With a budget in the region of €30 billion it is the largest funding opportunity in the programme to date.

The keynote address will be given by a European Commission speaker. There will also be a panel discussion on optimizing Ireland’s participation as well as a networking lunch. A set of parallel sessions will be run by the National Contact Points and Delegates in Ireland.
In the afternoon one of the sessions will deal with the NMPB and ICT 2018-20 work programmes with special emphasis on advanced manufacturing. Mr Seán O’Reagain, Deputy Head of Unit for DG R&I D2 - Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Biotechnologies, in the European Commission has confirmed his attendance for this session and he will be presenting.
Both NMPB and ICT draft WPs, will be discussed in the afternoon.
