Declan Brady New CEPIS Deputy President
Irish Computer Society Council Member and Vice President Declan Brady has been appointed Deputy President of CEPIS – the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies. Declan is a chartered IT professional with over 25 years’ experience. He also has considerable experience as an international representative of the ICS, having been a member of CEPIS Executive Committee since 2003 as well as chair of the CEPIS Task Force on Professionalism.
Declan’s new role as Deputy President of CEPIS was created to provide support to the President in their duties and particularly in representing CEPIS with external stakeholders. In this new position, Declan will take a leading role in shaping CEPIS’s strategic direction.
