Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Irish Computer Society may be compelled to cancel a
conference at short notice. In such circumstances, delegates will be entitled to a full
refund of their registration fee, or the fee can be credited towards a future
Notice of a delegate’s intention to cancel their registration must be made in writing, and
in good time, to the Irish Computer Society. In such cases, delegates will have the option
of nominating a replacement to attend in their place.
Such notice is subject to the following terms:
Delegates whose cancellation request is received more than 7 working days prior to the
start date of the conference date will incur no penalty.
Delegates whose cancellation request is received within 7 working days of the event
start date, or who fail to attend the conference, will be charged 100% of the full fee.
Where a delegate who has to cancel nominates a suitable replacement to attend in their
place, no cancellation penalty will be incurred.
