HISI are pleased to bring it to your attention that the fourth issue of the International Journal is now available

HISI is pleased to announce to you the Annual EuroRec 2010 Conference. This event will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on the 18th of June 2010. The conference is free but registration is mandatory. More information of this event can be found on the EuroRec website.

The Institute of Technology, Tralee, is offering a one-year taught Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics that will equip graduates with advanced theoretical knowledge, practice and research skills in Health Informatics.

The course covers various Health Informatics standards, such as Electronic Healthcare Records and coding systems, Strategic IT Management, Mobile Computing and HCI, and a number of healthcare topics including Evidence-Based Practice and Change Management. The course includes a large project element that will give students the opportunity to apply their learning to their own area of expertise. The course is very much geared towards nursing graduates but is open to all healthcare personnel.
